Students will display an increasingly sophisticated vocabulary of movement, technique, and artistry showing confidence, assurance and professional awareness in application.

Duration: One year from February – December

Study: Full-Time

Days: Monday – Friday

Hours: 9.00am – 6.00pm (additional hours are required during production weeks)

Entry Requirements:

Units of study covered at Diploma level include:

Musical Theatre Major – Acting Techniques, Music Theory, Musical Theatre Techniques, Vocal Technique, Song Repertoire, Classical Ballet, Jazz Dance, Tap, Modern Dance, Song & Dance, Improvisation, Contextual Studies, Performance Skills.

Dance Major – Classical Ballet, Pas de Deux, Modern Dance, Jazz Dance, Commercial Dance, Latin Jazz, Showgirl Technique, Dance Theory, Tap, Contemporary, Performance Skills, Acting Techniques, Vocal Technique.

Acting Major – Characterisation Skills, Vocal Technique, Modern Dance, Improvisation, Acting for Film & Television, Script Analysis, Stage Play, Accents, Shakespeare Studies, Stage Combat.
